 Dear LEGO / 5072 (-10)
Re: Open letter to the CEO of the LEGO Company / Call for discussion!

I notice on the other thread that many people have signed, but either partially or strongly disagree. Do you plan on passing all of the comments to TLG? If not, then maybe another letter and petition needs to be sent from the people who don't want (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jan-05, to lugnet.color, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Open letter to the CEO of the LEGO Company / Call for your signs! (no discussions here please)

I disagree with most of this letter. Yes, it makes sorting harder. Yes, The Lego Group underestimated how upset some people would be (as I was!). But assuming your focus group work on colours was valid, neither of the above reasons is good enough to (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jan-05, to lugnet.color, lugnet.dear-lego)

I do not support sending such a letter to the Lego senior management. They have enough to do trying to stay competitive in a very agressive market space. Their primary focus is their 90% consumer group - children - and they clearly have a plan to (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jan-05, to lugnet.color, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Open letter to the CEO of the LEGO Company / Call for discussion!

Why are we still talking about this? From a corporate view, they are not going to change thousands upon thousands of dollars of material to satisfy a mere 15% (I think it was stated?) that are AFOLs. I fail to see why we must continue this pointless (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jan-05, to lugnet.color, lugnet.dear-lego)

Do not agree with the letter, and actively prefer the new greys. Jacob Davies (28), Oakland, CA, $2-5k yearly. (20 years ago, 19-Jan-05, to lugnet.color, lugnet.dear-lego)

(...) I strongly disagree with this letter. The more colors the better. LEGO must innovate to stay alive. Kevin L Clague 2260 Hartle Ave #201 Owatonna, MN 55060 $1500/year in LEGO (technic and mindstorms) Co-authored in three books on LEGO robotics. (...) I partially agree with this letter. Daniel Jackson (14), Alaska USA. I would love to have the original colors back, as well as see the new colors in some sets. I want the original colors to be the iprimary/i colors. The new colors are fine for the (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jan-05, to lugnet.color, lugnet.dear-lego, FTX)

I strongly agree with the letter, especially after buying my first 2004 set last week. Rose Mother of two boys and wife of a large Lego purchaser (20 years ago, 19-Jan-05, to lugnet.color, lugnet.dear-lego)

I agree to the above letter. James Brink (26), Michigan, USA, $1000+ for pre-color change sets in 2003, $50 for post-color change sets. I'm still a fan of LEGO, just not much of a customer anymore :( (20 years ago, 19-Jan-05, to lugnet.color, lugnet.dear-lego)

David Chapman Adams (13) Richmond, VA, USA, I do not make a certain amount of money and thus do not have a certain budget for Legos. (20 years ago, 19-Jan-05, to lugnet.color, lugnet.dear-lego)
