Dear Guys & Gals at Lego what's with the lack of availability of certain sloping and sloping inverted bricks and also windscreens? I remember being able to order these with no problems from the spares leaflet that came with most sets when I was a (...) (21 years ago, 28-Jan-04, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Yes, the 32X32 blue as a single item has been discontinued for a while now. The glimmer of hope is that Pitsco Dacta still sells a pack of baseplates (4 or 5 I think) that includes the 32X32 blue. You have to buy large gray and regular green with (...) (21 years ago, 28-Jan-04, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general)

This may not be news to anyone, but it was news to me. I just got an email back from LEGO-Direct saying the blue 32 x 32 baseplate, though it says "Sold Out" on the S@H website, has been discontinued. Though I should look out for other items that (...) Replacing colors, dumb move. Creating a great market for grays on eBay and such (which TLC makes NO money from.....). How about another possibility that might mollify people. Treat the new colors as "new" colors BUT continue to make the old (and (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jan-04, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Here are some things you should do if you want to make more money: 1.keep the old light grey, dark grey and brown.
