1.more Space (either Space legends like Classic Space, Ice Planet,
Blacktron, Space Police etc or Space parts). I for one am comitting right
now to buying any space set that:
A.Pre-dates Spyrius (since thats when the good sets stopped IMO)
and B.doesnt include any large Trans-Fluro-Green parts (since I cant stand
Trans-Fluro-Green, that rules out Blacktron II and M:TRON)

Or how about a Space set in the MOC line. I am sure that any of the awesome
space builders who post to lugnet.space (I am good but not that good I dont
think :) could come up with an A-1 model to meet any specifications desired.

Notice how brad (in the QA for NWBrickCon) said "We will get to space but
it has to be balanced"...
I dont think that having nothing space while all the other themes get a
bunch of stuff is in any way "balanced" :(
Technic gets the front-end-loader, the crane truck and the forklift
Castle gets the guarded inn, blacksmiths shop and black falcons fortress
Pirates gets the armada flagship, red beard runner, black seas barracuda
and the enchanted island
Train gets the metroliner & all the other great product like the Engine Shed
Town gets the Gas & Wash Express, the Pizza To Go, the Breezeway Cafe and
Main Street
Pretty much every other major theme except Space has had at least one
reissue somewhere (even Western has gotten some like fort legoredo)

2.For the mindstorms, a good way to go would be to release a RIS 3.0 that
contains:
1.the current RCX
2.the current IR tower and sensors etc
3.the current motors (either the grey motors or the new cube ones from the
Inventor sets)
4.either the current software or a new version of it (perhaps with bug
fixes etc)
5.a good selection of parts drawn from all the most recent technic stuff
and 6.a new constructopedia with a new set of models

then, release an upgrade kit from the 2.0 that contains:
1.the new parts
2.the new software (if there is any)
and 3.the new constructopedia

3.If Space isnt an option because of Star Wars, how about re-visiting
Aquazone with a re-issue of some of the first run Aquanauts and Aquasharks
sets?

4.Definatly scope for some more mindstorms sensors.
Example ideas:
1.a "magnetic switch" type sensor for train layouts or whatever else
2.some newer cars have a sensor that warns you if you are about to back
into a wall or something. How about taking the technology from that (only
cheaper or something) and making a mindstorms sensor?
3.a ballance sensor (basicly like an electronic spirit level)
4.a compass sensor (basicly you install it so that one part on the sensor
points forwards then it will detect which compass direction that bit points)

5.more NASA stuff would be good. (the shuttle discovery blows the
mega-bloks attempt out of the water plus if the Discovery is not Model
Team, nothing is :)

6.more playsets for starwars (Death Star Dention Block for example would be
perfect)

7.better selection of bulk (now that bulk has proven sucessfull, mabie more
input should be taken from fans/customers as to what parts are most desired
in accessory packs/bulk packs)

8.How about some Technic Universal sets (either go back to the past for a
reissue or make a new one that would be perhaps like a mix of technic and
designer with good open-ended build posibilities from the set)

9.trains are good, how about a series with e.g. trackside items (like how
town had road-sign sets, fences and so on in the past)

and 10.here is a u-beaut idea I thought of.
Basicly, make a bunch of small sets, say, 40 (at say the same price point
as the SW minis) and package them in boxes that dont indicate which one you
are getting.
So, 1st q you buy a box and you can get 1 of 10 different sets (collect em,
swap em with your friends, trade em, sell em on bricklink)
2nd q, you buy a box and you can get 1 of 20 different sets
3rd q, 30 sets are available
4th q, 40 sets are available

Basicly, cash in on the popularity of this kind of "collect the entire
series" type toys plus the success of how this worked with the Bionicle masks.
