That set has been, IMHO, (next to the 8431 Crane Truck re-issue) the best "really big" technic set in recent years (mindstorms doesnt count as technic) The 8466 has so many good attributes: 1.a fair few studded beams, including the (exclusive to (...) In a recent thread on LUGNET, someone referred to 'evangelizing' about LEGO. This post may have some of that tone to it, though I suspect this is probably more like preaching to the choir. Basicly, we need a "universal" type set that emphasizes function over form & that doesnt have studless beams, faring panels or anything like that.
