(...) Maybe they are trying to avoid "hurting the feelings" of some tribe somewhere, but perhaps they should consider the hundreds of thousands of kids who will be disappointed that their favorate toy will be gone. (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.dear-lego)

This is EXACTALLY what I said would happen! ((URL) only thing left open by the article is if LEGO will continue the line with new names, but that's not very likely seeing as names in contention are main characters and all. What do you think of today's LEGO-sets? Do you like them or not? I think LEGO is going the way, the sets aren't interesting anymore, expensive and I can hardly find the studs on the pieces ... But maybe you don't agree. Please, sign my LEGO-forum if (...) (23 years ago, 26-Oct-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Anyway, it isn't a question of changed commas/dots - I'd wish it were so. The (...) (23 years ago, 24-Oct-01, to lugnet.loc.pt, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Thank you

Just a quick note to say thanks for the "Bob the Builder" Duplo sets ... not sure if that should be a sarcastic "thanks" as it now means my 2 year old daughter has just started her LEGO collection and is going to cost me a fortune in the long run ;) (...) "Pedro Silva" <el_gordo@netc.pt> wrote in message news:GLoH2E.KM4@lugnet.com... (...) Eek! That's just over £12,000, right? If that was 8000.00 BEF then that would be a bit cheaper than the UK price by around £35, so I think someone missed the (...) (23 years ago, 24-Oct-01, to lugnet.loc.pt, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Price (there must be some mistake...)

Sorry, I just noticed that I did not mention the country: it is Belgium. Yesterday I saw a price of about 800000 BEF for that set (and that is WAY_TOO_MUCH!) Pedro (...) (23 years ago, 23-Oct-01, to lugnet.loc.pt, lugnet.dear-lego)
