Re: Technic Beams in Bulk on shop.lego.com

(...) I dunno, yet. I've sent an email to S@H in both the US and Europe asking that question. When I get a response, I'll post it here. T. J. (23 years ago, 4-May-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Technic Beams in Bulk on shop.lego.com

(...) Man...I just checked out the UK S@H area and you're right; they seem to have all the old service packs (the 1988-1991 ones) available. I can't believe they still manufacture the 2x2 square pistons, the old pre-1994 differentials and those (...) (23 years ago, 4-May-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Technic Beams in Bulk on shop.lego.com

This sucks for the people in the US. I just checked out S@H for the UK and freaked out! It was like stepping back in time. Large beams in different colors, bulldozer chain links, old tires (the solid ones), 4.5V motors, etc. HEY LEGO: WHY DON'T YOU (...) (23 years ago, 4-May-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Why Gary cannot go to Legoland.

Another 'me too!' I totally agree with your discussion of product availability and price. Here's an older post of mine which touches on the same thing, but mostly rants about Juniorization: (URL) got the chance to talk to a Dacta employee in New (...) (23 years ago, 2-May-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Why Gary cannot go to Legoland.

So what's the chance of one of you locals picking up some light blue bricks/plates for me if they show up one day when I'm NOT there? I'll be there at the end of May, but only for one day, and I'd hate it if I missed them by a day. (...) -- Tom (...)   Re: Damaged Instruction Booklets

I'll second this. The "just-toss-it-all-in...es?"-style of packaging you've adopted lately is not very pleasing and does not feel very respectful of the consumer. Dave Bryan Wong <green_paper@hotmail.com> wrote in message (...) (23 years ago, 24-Apr-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Damaged Instruction Booklets

Dear Lego, I'd like to make a suggestion regarding the way instruction booklets are supplied, especially for your larger sets.
