This promotion could have (and probably should have) been skipped at my
local TRU. First of all it started an hour late. Then we went for lunch
and came back and found it set up at the very back of the store. Since they
didn't have "any room" they decided to set it up so that the little "pods"
were launched and then bounced off the wall and whichever one bounced back
the farthest (it it hit the wall at all) won. Meanwhile the guy running it
says that it's a big hassle and that the system is junk and it doesn't work
well (I'm sure bouncing it off the wall helped) and that he wouldn't
recommend that anyone buy one. I hope TRU didn't get any big promotional
fees from TLC on this because they certainly didn't do any favors for them.
