<What follows is another post about the demise of LEGO Town>
Can anybody tell me when TLG stopped making those lovely 2 inch + tall
Cyprus Trees? Looking back on old LEGO spare parts catalogues they used to
be sold in New Zealand in 1991 for about US$2.50.
Having been available since the dawn of Town Classic in 1978 (Town Classic
1978 - 1996) the Cyprus trees are no longer part of the LEGO Town landscape.
If I had just one wish for the Town theme it would be for TLG to remake
those trees. I only have 2 but a forest full of them would be great. It
seems ironic that being a one piece tree they could almost be considered a
Town Jr element yet they aren't being produced.
Anyway back to work.
