Dear Lego
I would like to make a suggestion that I'm sure has been made here before (but
I don't have time to check the archives to see what was said). I think that
LEGO should buy the rights for the upcoming "Lord of the Rings" movie. This
movie is sure to be a big hit and many of the existing Lego products could be
used to easily develop new "Lord of the Rings" themed sets. While I have not
read the "Harry Potter" books yet I'm sure they are very entertaining as well,
but J.R.R. Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings" is a classic story that both I and my
daughter have enjoyed greatly. I think a line of "Castle" themed legos
centered around the "Lord of the Rings" story would be a BIG seller. Please
consider it.

| I agree! _Lord of the Rings_ is such a huge and detailed world, just imagine all the possibilities for mini-figs and playsets! If they do make _Lord of the Rings_ LEGO they would, like you said, have HUGE, HUGE success! (...) (24 years ago, 3-Aug-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)
