IMHO, a bulk order should be exactly that -- a _bulk_ order.
So someone would go around the warehouse with a cart and a set of
scales, and dump 1000 +- 10 bricks into the order crate directly from
the storage crate. I think adding the uncertainty, though a bit harsh
on customers (OTOH, what's 10 bricks on a thousand?), might make bulk
orders more feasible due to less labour costs (ie, preferably more
than the 1% possible loss in brick amount ;) ), I'm all for it.
I don't know -- what sort of number of 2*4 bricks would be in a
storage crate, as an order of magnitude?

| (...) Carrying this one step further: just sell us a plain-brown-box[1] of 2x4 brown bricks. The same box that Lego stores them in.
