(...) I know it's not any more comforting, but the chainsaw, and other power tools, seem to be considered standard medical equipment LEGO, as featured in the (URL) hospital> (use the spin function - it's on the upper floor). It frightens me more in (...) (17 years ago, 5-Jun-07, to lugnet.dear-lego, FTX)

Arkham Asylum - A cool set, but a bit disturbing.

Dear Lego and others, After hearing that Arkham Asylum included two pirate muskets, I raced out a bought a copy. (Actually the last copy at my local TRU). [LEGOSet 7785] Looking at the box on the way home, I noted that the contents panel showed the (...) (17 years ago, 4-Jun-07, to lugnet.licensed.batman, lugnet.dear-lego, FTX) !!

  Re: New instructions at lego.com

(...) I have a suspicion that this might be to make up for the appalling colouring of the instructions. It's easier to match dark bleys and blacks to the instructions if they're in piles. --snip-- (...) Tim (18 years ago, 24-May-07, to lugnet.inst, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: New instructions at lego.com

(...) Be it carpet, grass, or a bad haircut on a big headed friend... I find this pic so laughable and insulting to the target audience. My own kids rolled their eyes at this one and called "lame".   Save the 10183 trains!

Hi, Last Saterday it arrived, my 10183. It is an awesome set with loads of parts and possibilities. But after building the crocodile (building instructions included in the box), we (my daughter, son and I) wanted to build one (or two) of the other (...)   PLEASE, just one part, just one!!

For years I've dreamed of a space outpost that sports an array of trans-domes in all the Classic Space colors. The only dome missing is this part in trans-red: (URL) PLEASE TLG? I don't care if there's only one of these in an $80 set, I'll buy four (...) (18 years ago, 4-Apr-07, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Why is the search facility on the Factory Gallery so rubbish?

This (URL) brickshelf gallery> mentions that the pullman cars are available on the Factory site. I tried searching by 'railway carriage', 'railway-carriage', 'railway', 'carriage' and by looking through all the trains models with no luck until on a (...)   Re: Parts-n-Pieces-n-Colors

(...) Yeah, they've had some of the 1x1 slopes in light bley as a special production run, I know-- We got to use all of about a dozen or so in the Millyard Project, but they weren't available in any sets at the time. And obviously they've been (...) (18 years ago, 1-Mar-07, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Parts-n-Pieces-n-Colors

Sooooo ... what are the chances we'll see the 1 x 1 x 2/3 slope brick in grey this year (as opposed to dark grey)? Would it help if I begged? (18 years ago, 1-Mar-07, to lugnet.dear-lego)

World domination - with small technic

Who am I? Nobody, but I've got big ideas. For Lego to do. :-) I think Technic has a great untapped potential. There are many parts, gears, tools and techniques! Yay! But the sets are not up to scratch. They are good, realistic models, but are only (...) (18 years ago, 28-Feb-07, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.technic, FTX)

Hypothetically speaking? the future of IR/RC trains

I’d like to pose a question that’s been bothering me lately. Since RC trains made they’re debut last year many issues have risen with the product in its current form.
