Re: Open letter to the CEO of the LEGO Company / Call for your signs! (no discussions here please)

(...) First, if the packs sold out in days or weeks, not months--perhaps *someone* would notice. If it took 8 months to sell 10,000 packs...that's and average of 42 packs a day. That's not a very rapid fill rate, nor is it something for a (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jan-05, to lugnet.color, lugnet.dear-lego, FTX)

(...) I DON'T agree with this letter and I think sending it from "the group of Adult Fans Of LEGO® (AFOLs)" is misleading. David Arnon, who will buy the new 2005 Technic sets in a heartbeat. (20 years ago, 20-Jan-05, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: An alternative open letter to the CEO of the LEGO Company

Some snippage. (...) I agree with Peter, I think excessive crossposting is something to be avoided. And I'm not the only person that feels that way. I'd also remind those thinking of crossposting excessively (for shock, for humor, to make a point, (...) (...) I wonder if we should all put away our toys (or dump them off at the local children's hospital, donate to the tsunami children) and go outside for a bicycle ride, or grab a book or something. -Patrick (20 years ago, 20-Jan-05, to lugnet.color, lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.debate)

I agree with the above letter. Partick S. O'Donnell (39) Lancaster County, PA, USA Loosing much interest in purchasing LEGO as a direct result of this color change issue. (...) Lets be nice here! - big wank, "eh" would have been kind Canadian thing to write as it would leave it up for debate or disagreement. I see no "facts" to support Ben being a "wank". -Patrick (20 years ago, 20-Jan-05, to lugnet.color, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Civil War!

Re: Open letter to the CEO of the LEGO Company / Call for your signs! (no discussions here please)

(...) I think the main reason the dissenters spoke up is that on first glace (and the CEO of LEGO will probably only skim it if the letter even gets to him) this letter purpost to represent the entire AFOL community. The opposition want to make it (...) (20 years ago, 20-Jan-05, to lugnet.color, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Civil War!

Let's do this! I'm tired of this debate. I'm sick of the contention between individuals. Enough!!! Let's just 'throw down' and go to war. Let's just put the civility aside and flame the hell outta each other. C'mon, bring it... I like the old grey, (...)   Re: An alternative open letter to the CEO of the LEGO Company

I agree with this letter. The new greys will NOT change my buying behaviour (up to US$3000 a year - for me, my child and our friends' children). I too agree with the content of this message.
