 Dear LEGO / *4393 (-20)
  4404 (Designer Land Busters)

Hi all, I'd just like to say that I am most impressed with the above set- considering its price point here, I am _very_ positively impressed. I paid ~79 CDN + taxes, and consider this to be a very good deal for the parts count, especially (...) (21 years ago, 2-Nov-03, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Price difference

(...) Sounds like you Europeans are getting the short end of the sticks again. You might want to wait until you find cheaper ones on eBay and BrickLink. (21 years ago, 24-Oct-03, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general)

  Price difference

Dear Lego, I noticed 8453 is listed on Lugnet as costing $20,-. As it's EUR 24,95 in dutch shops I thought I'd compare the S@H price: US: $19,99, NL $29,45! (EUR 24,99) On the front page of the US shop site I noticed the new UCS Snowspeeder for (...) (21 years ago, 24-Oct-03, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general)

Re: The next 4 LLCA Commemorative Duplo Bricks for 2003

(...) This is just a side question to anybody at Lego who may know this.... I am confused by the 'New Years Eve' brick - do you know why it says "2004" on it? I ask because New Years Eve is still in 2003, and the event at LLCA is on December 31, (...) (21 years ago, 13-Oct-03, to lugnet.dear-lego, FTX)

here is a cool castle idea

I have seen several castle toys that are basicly a bunch of different "modules" (like wall pieces, towers, turrets, gates etc) plus some people to put on those modules and then an attacking army (with siege engines etc) to attack it. You can arrange (...) (21 years ago, 9-Oct-03, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.castle)

(...) Speaking of the post over here: (URL), why not ask for the above elements in more colors than just shades of green? There could be a serious revival of this element in shades of yellow, orange, brown, red, AND green. We could get very serious (...) (21 years ago, 19-Sep-03, to lugnet.dear-lego, FTX)

dear lego, thanks for the 7470 space shuttle

It and the other NASA sets are the best "Space" sets to come out of LEGO since Ice Planet. The shuttle is WAY COOL and beats the pants off the Mega Bloks shuttle. The Moon Landing is great. The ISS is great also (although why did they use those (...) (21 years ago, 19-Sep-03, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.space)

Dear lego, please release more technic reissues

A perfect candidate is the 8062 universal set. A re-issue (without the storage case obviously) would almost certainly be fesable (I cant see anything in the set that TLC doesnt have any more except mabie the plates with holes) and its a good set (...) Yeah, I wouldn't mind more. I figure to make a decent sized tree, I'll need about 1000 of the large and a few hundred small. I'm only 1/4 of the way there, and that's over a LOT of sets parted out over the last 5 years. (...) -- Tom Stangl ***(URL) (...) (21 years ago, 18-Sep-03, to lugnet.dear-lego)
