Um, Peeron doesn't use 6029, you say? But when I searched for 6029 there I got
(and get) a whole slew of results in Pirates sets. (Actually, quite a few more
matches than 6029a. . .) I originally listed these as one part in keeping with
my idea "separate the set into as many pieces as possible without violence to
the Lego"; I would call separating these as "violence to the Lego", akin to
removing stickers from the sticker sheet.[1] But I digress. . .
There are a four cattlehorn/headdress wheels, with a total of 8 cattlehorns and
4 headdresses between them. Of them, as far as I can tell from the
instructions, six cattlehorns are used in the main model (two in Dragon Helms,
one on a horse's head covering, and three as decoration on the big battering
ram/seige tower). That makes it
8 cattlehorns 2 extra
4 headdresses 4 extra
and I did open a spare 6096[2], and it really does seem to come with four
cattlehorn/headdress wheels, even though one is unnecessary for the main model.

[1] And yes, I do have quite a few complete "tool wheels" lurking about in the
boxes for my Star Wars sets, along with the UCS stickers.
[2] Great set for Castle parts, if you can find it at half-off clearance.

| (...) (much snipped) the entry for 6096 has been fixed, the others need to be, those were all submitted inventories that were done in a big batch, so scanning through them was nearly impossible... it should be fixed tonight. (23 years ago, 27-Mar-01, to lugnet.db.inv)
