Old style black connector peg vs. new style - PROBLEM!!

OK, which TECHNIC sets out of the following list had the old style, and
which had the newer style of connector peg, in black?

8064 Universal Set

8854 Pneumatic Crane

8035 Universal Set

There is also the following kit:

8832  Go-Kart - mini version of 8842, and in black.

Did this kit have any connector pegs in black?  Instructions don't show any,
no idea whether LEGO included any though!!

(...) The newer friction connector (w/ slits in the side) first appeared in 1990. (...) The 8064 was released in 90 and should have the new style connectors. The 8854 was released in 89 (but was available until 92) so early versions had the older (...) (25 years ago, 14-May-00, to lugnet.db.inv)
