I inventoried my 8445, and differ from Ben on several parts.
These tables are meant to be read in a constant-width font.
"T#" is the section number of Technica in which the part appears.
"P#" is the part number if I know it.
Part names correspond to Technica's for all parts which appear there.
Here are the points of difference. Ben's numbers are in parens.
The main model requires 4 black 3x2 plates, two yellow 1x1 beams,
two 99 toggle joints, and two crank crosses, so I'm sure those are
right.
