(...) I've been doing simple text-lists, on the assumption that (a) comma-delimited is too hard to read, and (b) tab-delimited posts could end up with the tabs being munged to spaces. So I figured that fixed-width, spaces-filled lists would be the (...) (27 years ago, 29-Mar-99, to lugnet.db.inv)

I am compiling some set piece inventories and wonder many things. Steve Bliss pointed me to some lists of part names - thanks. But I was also wondering about the format for such a list. Is it a matter of personal taste ? My preference is either (...) (27 years ago, 27-Mar-99, to lugnet.db.inv)

If you are doing an inventory, PLEASE use LDraw part #s too. It will make finding the part MUCH easier with Todds LDraw Parts directories. That way, if these start being HTMLified, it will be easier to link in the actual part. Besides, I hate many (...) (27 years ago, 19-Mar-99, to lugnet.db.inv)
