Thomas, There's a hint on the last page of the instructions you linked to. It shows another vechile: (URL) that the part you are looking for? I have that piece; the base is almost square, although the piece is hollow. The curved one in your original (...) (22 years ago, 2-Aug-02, to lugnet.db.brictionary)

Does anyone know where part 21: Windscreen 2 x 4 x 1 & 2/3 (URL) I thought it was the windscreen in set 480 (URL) that winscreen is clearly rounded outward far enough that it would not fit in the footprint of a 2x4 brick, while part 21 looks like it (...) I was asking to know which of the two treads to put in my inventory of 8539---I guessed x203, because the size looked close (about 4--5 studs on the semimajor when loosely draped), and it is in a smaller Makuta set.
