Hi.  I applied for Castle World Membership, and I have a few questions:

1.  Do I have to make a map that coinsides with others?  I noticed some
posts regarding one large map and then smaller ones for our own kingdoms.  I
just cant figure out what I can do with my own map.

Like Pawel said, don't worry about it.  I'm doing fine without a map.

2.  How much interaction goes on between the stories of the balladeers?  Are
they completely seperate or somewhat interwoven?  I have read some (The
Chronicles of Ikros particularly impressed me) and I want to write a story
correctly.

There is no 'correct' way to write a story.  I'll say that my Chronicles of
Ikros are the longest story thus far (at least of what I've seen), but it is by
no means the best.  Joel Jacobsen and his Forest of Blood is a great story,
even inspite of his total lack of Castle MOCs and general worthiness of being a
member of Castle World.  :)   Shiri has good stories, as well as Wilson Raska.
Kevin Hall's story is greatly enhanced by fantastic pictures, while Tirrell
Brown's story has none (thus far).  Write what you wish to write, worry not
about what others have done.  You are your own person, let your work reflect
that.

3.  I cannot attend Brickfest.  I really would like to go, but Im only 18,
broke, and living in Wisconsin.  Im a little confused as to how my signature
characters will be able to attend.  How do I do it?  :)

Pawel answered that one for ya.

I hope there are answers out there!  Im really anxious to get my ball
rolling and become a true balladeer!  Thanks in advance!

A true balladeer is a person with the spirit of chivalry in his heart and the
power of Lego in his hand.  It is not something you given or something you
earn, it is something you are born with, and when used right it can produce
wonderous things.  And then there's Joel.  :)
