1. To adjust picture quality, it's always possible to use Macro
mode if it's available on the model of camera you're using.
Otherwise, if one is not available at your disposal ({in
my case; I'm using a HP photosmart 320}) try taking an old
magnifying glass and positioning it about an inch away from the
lens. This produces a synthetic macro, but in a case such as
this |[1]| it works.

I suppose reading the manual would help...

2. Taking a look at the model, I'm rather impressed with your
take on the oriental styled architecture (extra points for the
use of sloped roofing to give it a pagoda feel.) A few of the more
notable features included the entrance archway and the interior
details such as the bonsai plant, armor racking, floor design and
armament pedastals. (which makes me wonder why lego never made
smaller katanas for Wazikashis or Tantos?)

An easy solution i suppose would be to merely clip one shorter but  i cant take
myself to do that!

As seen on many models this month, the use of those flat foliage
elements (used on ivy, trees, vineyards, etc, etc.) gave the
landscape a nicely designed feel. However, the landscaping depends
on the baseplate quite a lot. (it would have been nice to see some
more trees, gates, etc thrown in.)

I would have had more trees, saddly i ran out of plant pieces

The only critique(s) here would be color choice (especially for the
outside of a building; black is difficult to photograph without
lighting and hits the aesthetics a bit.)

Again, the overexcitment of my new camera superceded my chance to wait for
better lighting, BTW as i write this, my camera turns 1 week old

If it's one attribute I look for in a model, an interesting design
takes top honors. You seem to be hitting the formule pretty much here,
and I look forward to your next take on Jahmong.

Thanks, i hope to do some more soon, just wanna do my next chapter first.

Here's a good example

Without macro

I'll fiddle around a bit, thanks for the advice.

(...) Alright, I noticed this last week, but with the general nonsense I have to go through just to earn a buck, I haven't had much time for feedback comments. But, upon review, I'll have to echo some of the remarks made earlier. 1. To adjust (...) (21 years ago, 14-Jul-03, to lugnet.castle.ninja, FTX)
