i agree with victor.  in my world there are many faction, none represent 'good'
and none represent 'evil.' (i don't have an army of the undead either..
unfortunately).. i think the ideas of good and evil are more stagnant than just
a plain free for all of factions. (although i do have a protagonist and an
antagonist factions)

in my world, there is plenty of fighting to go around.. no one gets along.  it
is a result of mutual mistrust of factions and competing interests, rather than
one group being intrinsically good and the other bad.

Exactly, the above is what I was trying to convey as mroe exciting to me

i think old lego tends to support this: black falcons and forestmen i think
were more of rivals/rebels to the dominant lions.  recently lego has turned

That's probably true considering the King's Castle and King's Mountain
Fortress were lion castles, where as the smaller Knight's Castle and Black
Falcon Fortress were the Falcons'.

decidely designating one group evil (such as the Fright Knights or Bulls) and
one group good (Knights kingdom/royal knights.. whom i see as one).. and i
think that is part of the juniorization of lego (a polarized world outlook).

Same here. I think you phrased it much better than I did.

Oooh, oooh!  I am molding a mishappen squad of unead skeletal raiders, but
as my money grows so shall the raiders.
