That’s REALLY good... it's ‘Harry Potter good’!
I wonder if TLC will use the Alpha Teams OGEL Control center
in the same manner you did.

-Lego good, Canada great-®

Judging by the fact that there have been quite a few baseplates
that have been unique to certain sets, I wonder if Lego has any plans for
this one other than the Alpha Team OGEL control center.  I'd say that it's
probably safest to assume that they won't and try to scoop up as many as you
can while you're still able to.  Either way, the adaptation into a medieval
theme is commendable.  Nice Work.

P.S. James, as per the comments contained on the page where you've posted
pictures of your creation in regard to the relative size of this model in
comparison to larger castle structures (presumably "more important" ones), I
propose that maybe a change of title will alter one's perception of the
structure.  In other words, maybe the model is too big for the name
"Dockside Tavern" but would be appropriately sized for a moniker similar to
"Upriver Trading Post", or something else along those lines that might
connotate it's size being necessary as it is a ways away from any main
centers of commerce (I'm assuming that "Dockside Tavern" suggests that this
structure is in an existing town or city where it is not necessarilly the
most important business of it's type, whereas if it is truly an outpost, a
last refuge before uncharted wilderness, it's size would be well justified).
either way, the model looks great.  that's my $.02

Thanks for the comments. I agree Trading Post does sound better, Its more the title I was looking for :) I'd love to snap up more of the Ogel bases but at £40 a pop it gets a bit pricey "Damien Nesbit" <johnnobody@msn.com> wrote in message (...) (24 years ago, 13-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle)
