    What do you call the alien armor shoulderpads? —Tony A. Rowe
   I've been working on my Lego Combat wargame and have been focusing on the Castle theme rules. I've noticed that many of you like to use the black or grey alien armor shoulderpad piece to use as armor in your Castle MOCs. If you don't know what I'm (...)      (...) Well, I'd be inclined to call it 'pauldrons'. Technically a pauldron only covers the shoulder, but it's the closest thing that comes to mind. It doesn't really have a "real" equivalent.      (...) not (...) what (...) Hmmm... I was thinking something along those lines as well. It looks to me like hide armor or furs (especially when worn with a cloak). I might go with that... but I also have to figure out how to make it different from (...) (23 years ago, 14-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)

   (...) I've used it: (URL) with this character it is used more as supplimental armor since the torso is what I consider to be ring-mail. I've never thought of a 'style name' for the armor, but my use was inspired by one of the bad guys in part of a (...) (23 years ago, 16-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)
