You have a point. A construction-worker vest then. The old 80s kind, to be
appropriate! (assuming it is a discovery, my friend thinks it's a burial!)
Brick Apple is gorgeous--it's an inspiration. I think it was the mock-borough
names over there that got me started, it was "Minifig-hattan, Bricklyn, Greens"
etc. I live in "Greens". Queens has a Green Bus Line already, so, I went off and
made a Greens Bus Line, and conceived the town around that one bus! (and a SUV.)
Since I'm imitating Kew Gardens, Greens, er Queens, my town is Mini Gardens. The
real one is chock full of castles (Ob. castle!) There are a couple of funny
ethnic jokes that rhyme with Kew Gardens: for example, we have so many flight
attendants they call us Crew Gardens, and I plan to have some fun with those
eventually. Anyway, I am saving castle parts to imitate "Castle Court" (visible
from my window) and "Buckingham House" (no kidding!) which has two round towers
with battlements!
I built one house in the style of the neighborhood behind us, which is Richmond
Hill, thinking of calling it Minifig Hill, or Brickmond Hill maybe. No castles
over there, just wooden New England Victorian type houses with lots of bay
windows.
