I'm pretty sure dark grey is right... To the fullest extent of my knowledge, no
light grey helmets appeared within the castle theme after 1983. I'm pretty sure
that the ONLY light grey castle helmets were in 375/6075, 677/6077, 383/6083,
and 16?(0016 in pause, the old-style castle mini-figs pack) You can actually
tell that the helmets in 6067 are dark grey in the pictures by comparing them
to the light grey castle wall... they're just darker enough to tell that
they're not light grey, although it's tough to tell by just looking at the
helmets themselves.
