Gah! I have nowhere near the number of bricks I'd need for that...

Actually, yes. Check out the Imperial Armada figs...(and heck, some of
the Castle ones...)

Hmm. With a scrap of cloth, a needle, and a bit of thread, one could fold
the cloth 'accordian style' and slip the needle through...pull the thread
in to 'gather' the inside of the ruff...it might work, anyway.
