  Re: Blood Stone Castle parsed!

(...) Barnes and Noble had this a couple years back, and may still do. My copy says "1993 Barnes and Noble Books". I was hoping for more detailed pictures and plans, but there is certainly a lot of historical stuff in it. (25 years ago, 1-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

  turntable display base

The black turntable (1.25"diameter -12 stud) placed on the 2 4x4 green plates, all found in the $1.99 Defense Archer poly bag #4811 makes a very nice display stand for a favorite figure. I have the Fabuland Lion holding the lion shield on this set (...) (25 years ago, 1-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.castle, lugnet.fabuland) !

DINOTRON: A cross-system hybrid MOC theme

[Not sure what ng's to crosspost this to . . . it's kinda a hodge-podge of DUPLO and Star Wars and Castle and mecha stuff. I guess I'll go with that. Followups to .duplo?] (URL) were a lot of fun to make. Here's the secret: The backs of the DUPLO (...)   [MOC] Royal Quarters for my WIP castle

Here are some pics of the almost finished product. I've got 99% of the exterior done and most of the interior design completed. I'll be adding more interior detail like furniture, some tiled flooring and of course occupants. The last two pics reveal (...) (25 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle) !

Re: [MOC] Royal Quarters for my WIP castle

Great job, Mike! Now I'm wondering; do the soldiers sleep on the floor? Sleeping bags and all? <grin, duck, run> Serously tho', really nice. I love the exterior design, the turrets are cool. Can't be long with compliments (gotta go) but you have (...) (25 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Favorite castles?

Now here's something to ponder... What's your favorite castle set made by TLC (no MOCs Please :-)? And please explain *why*. I'm really interested. I don't have enough castle sets to judge, and I want to know what everyone thinks. I'd really rather (...) (25 years ago, 3-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)
