  Adding height to minifigs?

What's the best way to add height to minifigs? I have a figure (mentioned earlier, all black with a transparent red head, cloak, and silver sword) who needs to stand about a foot taller than everyone else (he's the incarnation of justice). Anyhow, (...) (25 years ago, 29-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Better idea? hmmmm..probably not...but a suggestion or two... I am still exprimenting w/ this problem myself...I tried a accessory solution...namely using combinations of epaulets, capes, backpacks and armor to raise the level of the head vs (...) (25 years ago, 29-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Well, I'd give up SOME of my brick separators... I've got one in the kitchen, one beside my dining room table, one beside the computer (and primary LEGO sorting [and every once in a blue moon building] station), one in the bathroom (you never (...) (...) In junior high, we had a classroom project which was built to such a scale. It was a study of Seattle WA, and different color bricks represented different types of buildings. I'd love to get the baseplate (it had the harbor and lake printed on (...) (25 years ago, 29-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)

(...) No, don't say it: you are (searching for subtle euphemism) "passing" bricks? Oooooo, and you have to use a brick separator? Ouch. You are taking this Lego stuff too far! :-) Bruce (25 years ago, 29-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Well, I only have three, but I usually find that one of them is lost in the pile of junk mail on the desk. I try to keep them all together so I don't have to build any contraptions to get the 1x2 plate stack apart. John (25 years ago, 29-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

I had to do this for my Charles Degaulle (?) figure for my Eiffel Tower. I stuck a 2x4 'camera' brick with studs on 4 sides and a tube on the end in between the body and legs. I also put a 1x1 plate on the bottom and a 1x2 plate on that for feet. (25 years ago, 29-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)
