[MOC] Desert Outpost of the Dragon Clans

After a long hiatus, I finally have an addition to my page! The new pics and pages are of a desert fortress built to control a small oasis, and currently occupied by a small detachment of soldiers from the Dragon Clans (the same detachment, it (...) (25 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle) !

Hey Jeff! Now, 'tis 'bout time we saw some of your excellent creations! I really can't write long, since it's getting late, but I love the creative use of the sphinx baseplate, not to mention the lack of castle-walls - the "stone" effect is (...) (25 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Please do! I couldn't do much this weekend (end of term) but the next one is targetted for clearing out the lego to our sun porch (1) and of course, building a bit on the way is unevitable ;-) -Shiri (1) Now that the sun's out, I can actually (...) (...) Snow is real pretty when its new. It can be fun for snowball fights and tobogganing. Other than that, and as a source of moisture for the fields in the spring, most people find it to be a nuisance. It's *very* ugly in the late stages of (...) (25 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Castle Pictures Posted

I finally posted a couple pictures of the castle/keep that I built for the NELUG window display at The Construction Site. (Yes, that's a grey 48x48 baseplate that it's built on.) (URL) no interior yet, but the window display is still well over a (...) (25 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug, lugnet.castle) !

  Forestmen and Wolfpack... thoughts

I've been thinking a bit about those Wolfpack and Forestmen (1). First of all, I think the reason they are so sought after and viewed as "cool" by many castleers (aside from being hard-to-get :) is their rag-tag and slightly disorganized (...) (25 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)
