As for the LEGO bow being a longbow...well...kindasortamaybe. Its hard to
tell with selective compression. The English longbow was as tall as the
user - much too large to be used from horseback (1) - but the WW Indians
don't seem to have a problem with the LEGO bow. I think it's probably a
short bow, given that LEGO weapons often seem rather large for their weilders.
Er, I hope that didn't come off as correcting you...I guess I'm just in a sort
of lectury mood, and a topic I'm interested in came up!

(1) - The Japanese had an interesting way of fixing that problem. They had a
type of bow called a 'yumi' which averaged around seven feet tall. It had the
handgrip placed about 2/3 of the way down the bow as opposed to being in the
middle, allowing it to be fired from a kneeling position or from horseback.
