Hmmm... I'm not sure what you mean. First of all, lego's site is in no way
competing with the fan-created sites. (If it were, though, it would lose ;-)
But I wasn't aware that you had an *interactive* lego castle site... Did I
miss something here? Or do you mean CW? Not quite sure what you mean.

;-) Or maybe from me... :-)
But the point is, they are a multi-nation company, they should have someone
review their stuff before it's put online. This is not the first time that
their misteaks are noticeable (for example - Scala qoute, 23nd edition, S@H
catalog "a beautiful princes"...). They should read their work before
publishing it. Note though - their misteaks are only stuff that could pass a
spell check.

Yeah. I guess they think the only way they can draw in the kids is create
moving stuff. And I have to admit - they're right. I tried to show those 5 y/o
fans my site, but they got bored REALLY fast - especially since they can't
read yet. They wanted to play the throwbots game, and eventually created a
wish list with all the stuff they want. (They did not like the knight's
feature - it didn't move enough, I guess ;-)
But that begs the question - Does TLC want to draw in ONLY the 5 y/o? If so,
they will succeed, and they will push off the rest of the market - ranging
from 7-16 y/o (as they state it), not to mention the adult market. I suggest
that they create another area of the site, with more info and less games, for
those who are not quite into that. (Call it a parent's area if that makes them
feel better.) Put in some suggested prices, put in some inventories. Heck -
put an online store, and guarantee visitors. Any one of these would help.
And, do yourself a favor, put on a counter, to get a sense of the difference
between the "kid's" area and the "parent's/adult's" area.
(Sorry if this sounds like raging - TLC's misconception of their market just
upsets and disappoints me.)
