Wow, thanks for all those sources.
Looking at the original Japanese inspiration, would it be too uncouth to refer
to vignettes as the haiku of LEGO building?
I really dig the simplicity of the building style, and absolutely how much
personality and story can be drawn from one.
Oddly enough, I'm sitting amidst more LEGO elements than I can count, and I have
to wait to go home to try my hand at one. The rigors of my job, oh well. It
will give me time to think of something.
First thought, considering the haiku train of thinking, to actually take some
Basho or Issa and try to visualize their verses in LEGO.
