Re: October 31st - Picture of the Day Vol. 2

Hi Jojo, I love the story and even more the great detailed picture. The brown chair is great, the idea of the guns there... so many brown parts, I never knew there was that window in brown. As some said before me the ink stain is a great touch to it (...) (21 years ago, 31-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Once upon a midnight dreary . . .

(...) Oh LOL. Nice job Bruce. I remember reading this a couple months back. You made a nice environment for his "room". That's a nice Halloween MOC you got. Happy Halloween! Dean (21 years ago, 31-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Once upon a midnight dreary . . .

Anthony, That's hilarious, and yet tragic, for we've all been in similar situations. My favorite line is: "I tried to catch the chips off-guard - I pressed again, but twice as hard." That one made me LOL. Bruce (21 years ago, 31-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: October 31st - Picture of the Day Vol. 2

(...) Cool. Thanks for the information. I almost wondered if it was some sort of pulpit or bapistry or something (because of the relief figures around the outside) that was being stored in this room for some reason. Now it all makes sense. Bruce (21 years ago, 31-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build)

  Re: Once upon a midnight dreary . . .

(...) That was really well done Bruce. Made me go into my files and dig out this thing I aquired a long time ago. It's off topic, but fun non-the-less.   Re: Once upon a midnight dreary . . .

  Re: Once upon a midnight dreary . . .

(...) Wonderful! Like Larry, I am reminded of something else--but for me it's the Simpsons Hallowe'en ep. I like the full bookshelves and the bust. Using the old lady painting from Harry Potter as the painting--also wonderful! Nice job. Dave K (21 years ago, 31-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: castles Mocs not mentioned on Lugnet (yet)...

Yaron, Actually, I was quite glad Ben reposted this, because somehow before I never saw the gian bull's head on the front of the fortress.   RE: October 31st - Picture of the Day Vol. 2

(...) Ja. For all us Germans out there, it's a kachel ofen - a big stove with ceramic tiles on the outside that heats up the room. Ralph (21 years ago, 31-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build)

Re: October 31st - Picture of the Day Vol. 2

Hey Jojo, Happy Halloween/Reformation Day. Great MOC. I especially like the way you put the inkstain into the floor and into the wall (SNOTty, even). The cabinet on the wall and the chair are also very cool. The green thing is still a puzzle to me, (...) (21 years ago, 31-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build, FTX)
