Re: Jahmong like you've never seen before!

Hi Nick, I think your wall and gate are great. It proves that groups other than western europe can use the CCC. Chinese/Japanese, Roman, or Middle Eastern walls can be built this way. The color schemes and the scale are also nice. Ben (21 years ago, 20-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Tailor's Shop

Hi Dean, Your Tailor's Shop looks great. I like the stone base and tudor construction. The rounded windows are nice too. The roof is steep and would look good as a row of houses. It makes me think that this is only half of the building :) I would (...) (21 years ago, 20-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: WLC Keep finished ! Gallery !

Hi Kai, Your castle is great. It reminds me of several Norman Keeps. The opening hinge walls are creative. The white walls are accurate as well because some castles were painted or covered with plaster (which I am sure that you know). I cant wait (...) (21 years ago, 20-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Four Shops

Hi Jason, I like these shops as well. The color schemes (orange and yellow) are nice. I also like the lions head used as sculptural ornament. Ben (21 years ago, 20-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Bull's Rock

Hi Yaron, I think it is very cool that you made a fortress for the Bull's. It is something I have thought about but never accomplished. I often wondered why a fortress was never released for them. Your fortress is has a lot of fantasy and jungle (...) (21 years ago, 19-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Bull's Rock

Hi guy's, What's up??? Seems I've been gone like forever, but really not. Had alot on my mind lately, you know basically - life. Meanwhile been working on 3 new MOC's for Castle.   Wizzards Tower Base

Looking for comments on the tower so far. I'm new to the groups and to posting on this site -- so let me know how it works. Anyway, you've got to start with the basement! The link on Brickshelf is (URL) just uploaded new pics, so I don't think it (...) (21 years ago, 18-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Norman Keep

Super Cool Magnus, there are a lot of new ideas and concepts in this picture, and I love every one. The arches, the arrow slits, and murder holes built into the facades are really awesome. This is one of the coolest things I've seen in a while. (...) (21 years ago, 18-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: New Tolkien chapters

Hey Bruce, I really like the work you did with the army of the dead! The ghosting on the images is cool! I like how you didn't make the scene about the effects, but let the effects enhance the scene! Very nice. I love seeing your work (your aragorn (...) (21 years ago, 18-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Norman Keep

(...) Bruce, Hey, don't have a detailed pic of that, but those were really easy. I just used the 1 by 2 plate with a single stud on the top, and offset a 3 stud long brick over a four stud brick, and then built it up 2 or 3 bricks or so. I hope this (...)   Re: Norman Keep

(...) Dean, Thanks for your kind words. Funny, I have always liked that baseplate myself, it gives the illusion of a castle being up on a hill of some sort, and I find it tends to work with buildings of this size. I wanted something which would be (...) (21 years ago, 17-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: New Tolkien chapters

(...) Nice work. Lord of the Rings stuff is certainly my favorite interest in castle creations. I remember when The Two Towers came out, everybody would keep comparing Dobby with Gollum. So I was not too surprised with your choice of minifig :) (21 years ago, 17-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Pub 'n Shop

Batch 2. I tried to mix things up a little more this time with shape of the pub, making the L was fun and created an interesting roof line. Hey Magnus, Very cool. Could you show some detail pictures to show how you made the arrow slits? Bruce. (21 years ago, 16-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Norman Keep

(...) Magnus, this is very nice! Cool keep, considering it was built on a CRAPP (Crummy Ramp and Pit Plate) plate. For some reason, the extra-tiny turrets feel so appropriate for this. The way you made those arrow windows above the door is (...) (21 years ago, 16-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle)
