Thanks.  I'm no POV-Ray expert, but Travis Dickinson sent me some settings a
while ago.  These might be a little different, but they're similar to what
he gave me.  These were my settings for radiosity and the sky sphere:
global_settings {
  assumed_gamma 1
  ambient_light 0
  max_trace_level 25
  adc_bailout 1/150
  radiosity {
    pretrace_start 0.08
    pretrace_end 0.01
    count 300
    error_bound 0.1
    recursion_limit 1
  }
}

sky_sphere {
  pigment {
    gradient -y
    color_map {
      [0 rgb <1,1,1>]
      [1 rgb <.65,.87,1>]
    }
    scale 2
    translate -1
  }
}

And I added this to the camera settings:
focal_point <-1.79121,-19.2535,-2.66673>  // same as look_at
        aperture 3
        blur_samples 70
        variance 1/1000

Also, I deleted all of the light sources for most of the renders.

Those are nice, and the renders are gorgious.  I like the pig a lot, with
it's big floppy ears.  What settings did you use?

It looked like everyone was having fun making animals, so I thought I'd try.
I want to build these, but for now I just have CAD versions.  I think I made
sure all the pieces that I used were available in the colors that I used.

I made a chicken that I copied everything but the head from David Eaton's
chickens and turkeys.  I made a pig and cow loosely based on Ineke de Laat's
versions (and copied the cow's head exactly).
