Here's a model I built about a year ago for my Isle of Mist story... but I never got around to using it and now I've moved on from the whole IOM thing. Very cool. You've developed the plot well, and the pictures really work with the text. I can't wait for more! It sounds very interesting. The only nitpick I have is that the text is too dark for my monitor. My monitor for some reason displays things (...) (22 years ago, 6-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle)

Jon, You're right on the limitations of available colors. Of course, if this were an official set there are other colors that could be swapped in like some of those light yellows or the orangy-brown of the HP Privet Drive set. Unfortunately those (...) JoJo, This is beautiful! The mill itself is outstanding, but what really brings it to life is the action--guy dumping grain into the mill stones, fisherman, cat and rat, etc. My favorite construction details are the foundation (especially the mix of (...) (22 years ago, 6-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle)

JoJo, I’m afraid you are right, those pirate soldier uniforms are out of place in the time period, I was trying to find some way of making a musketeer’s dress uniform (which is harder than I thought!)
