First indeed.  And very cool.  I want to steal that gray chest though.  I'd
steal the black armor but it's much cheaper, not worth being tossed in the
stocks for.  I'd steal the bannana and apple too, I hate buying the
expensive girly legos for basically one tiny peice.  The set with the fairy
and her bed and a tiny dresser, not worth the price for the jewels.  Put
them in a shop with weak doors so I can steal them in the night.  Awesome
shop all in all.  Jealous we are, Mmmm, yes indeed.

Hi all,

I am proud to present the first Medieval Marketplace:

        The Rare Items Co.
It sells all those rare pieces that are so hard to find and so
collectible... think of an old fashioned bricklink with only one store...

The Folder (after moderation):

And Here is a longer explanation (with pics), "s are the shopkeeper:

At first glance this shop seems as rustic as the rest:

But notice the rich lord who is casualy edging towards the door...
Once past the humble entrance you are greeted by an impressive display of
rare essentials. "Greetings sir" calls the shopkeeper as he points out that
no one uses brown chests any more and his exclusive grey one. 'The lid seems
a bit loose' enquires the customer. "It will tighten with wear" soothes the
shopkeeper (who has never been known as a particulary honest person).

Then you become lost in the shop itself, oblivious to prices and needs, and
what you really came for...

The bottom level is for him. The latest weapons (only black will do apart
from that brown ax that didn't sell last year); saddles, "one clip is for
you sir."; Beautifully crafted silver daggers on red silk pillows (never a
good sign); Black Armour that will keep you safer "Picture yourself in
battle sir, all others have fallen but you stand triumphantly..."; the
latest round shields; and much more.
Then you go upstairs, this is the area for your wife, and the prices
increase as you go up... "On your left the finest material for your wife's
sewing, in almost unabtainable colors"; a brown cape (also a man's but it
comes under style); a red hood, "also available in white"; A beautifully
carved cedar table with its distinctive red hue; fine china and crystal; and
in the center of the room, a delicacy... a banana
And upstairs, after the customer has left, the shopkeeper prepares next
years stock next to his own rather lavish quarters... He is making a tidy
profit.

     PLMKWYT and God Bless,

           Nathan

(...) Thanks! (...) Looking carefully you can pick them up in a decent town set (shell promos for example). (...) Perhaps I should put them in the securities firm in the market place (coming very soon...) God Bless, Nathan (...) (22 years ago, 1-Nov-02, to lugnet.castle)
