Jackie, the set is discontinued, actually despite available stock on Lego
Shop@Home for Knights Kingdom sets: Joist, and a couple others, the whole
line is discontinued.
I think this maybe due to lack of knowledge by the consumer. I am 90%
certain, the sellers that have put Leo's Castle on auction got them for
when they were put on clearance. I know I missed out on the clearance
where I lived. Other areas of the world had them selling for a very
good rate. I think Australia had them selling for between $40 and $50
at the height of its sell off.
Having Leo's Castle sell for that high is very wierd, but I bet the castle
will drop off, once Lego releases another major castle Legend set,
Black Falcon's Fortress (which is a much better designed castle and
cheaper too!!!), or the Yellow Classic Castle.
