I have built five slightly different well designs and I would really appreciate
it if someone would tell me which looks best. The well is supposed to fit in a
"palace environment".

I've put up pictures of two different angles for every design. Right now I'm
leaning towards number 3...or 4...or maybe 5 ;)

Yes, 3 4 and 5 are the nicest for a palace invronment.
Now there are other factors of course :)

1) Who is it used by?
2) Where in the Palace is it located?

If it is a secluded well for the servents, but still has to look nice, then
#3, to show off it's simplicity, yet beauty.
If it is for the royalty, and Snow White is going to be singing there, then
#4, to show off beauty and grandeur.
If it is for anyone more militarily based, or is out front of the castle,
#5, to show off the royal insignia.

Hope that helps :)
