Just spoke to a worker in The Entertainer and they said that they would categorically not be stocking Harry Potter LEGO on their shelves. This is due to the religious beliefs of the owner (he feels its inapropriate and so wont stock any Harry Potter (...) (23 years ago, 9-Sep-01, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.castle)

I would like to quickly comment on so many people's objection to Harry Potter. As a large fan of fantasy novels, I have always found this strong objection to fantasy from different religious factions quite peculiar. My first girlfriend many years (...) The idea of keeping the Sabboth (Sunday/Saturday) is an ancient church tradition. I think it holds a lot of merrit regardless of your religious beliefs.
