  New Knight's Kingdom Prices

I hope I'm not the only one that is slightly disappointed with the new Knights Kingdom. Mostly it's because of the continuing trend by LEGO to make it nearly impossible to buy large quantities of minifigs. They did a nice job last time around by (...) (20 years ago, 7-Jun-04, to lugnet.castle)

Always wanted to build a model ship out of LEGO: (2 URLs) Click the picture or: (URL) The ship features two decks below, one top side, 54 LEGO cannons, removable deck plates to check out the inside. The entire models breaks into three sections to (...) (20 years ago, 6-Jun-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.castle, FTX) !!

  Re: Announcing the MOCC

Hi folks, Sorry for whatever misunderstanding there may have been regarding the size of the castle. I'll try to clear things up a little. (...) I'm not quite sure where the confusion lies, but I'll try to rephrase. The castle itself can take up no (...) (20 years ago, 5-Jun-04, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Announcing the MOCC

(...) I think this is indeed a bit confusing. I am pretty sure it is meant that the ENTIRE MOC fits on a 48 x 48, and the castle can occupy up to 36 x 48 of that. (...) I think it would be good to get that cleared up. How about the landscaping can (...) (20 years ago, 4-Jun-04, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Announcing the MOCC

(...) I don't think item two is accurate. The actual announcement applies the 2304 stud limit to "raised landscaping" on which the castle is built, not generic "surrounding lands", which could include, oh, a green baseplate. This is actually quite a (...) (20 years ago, 4-Jun-04, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Right. Quite often, my mouth (and in this case, my fingers) don't actually repeat what my brain was thinking. (...) You know I love exposing secret plots. :) (...) (20 years ago, 4-Jun-04, to lugnet.castle)

  Castle Peregrine Gatehouse

Hi all-- I've posted some pictures of the gatehouse and drawbridge for my new castle MOC: (URL) also got a PDF of the instructions for the drawbridge. I'll post the gatehouse ones as I do them (the bridge ones took nearly a full weekend to render on (...) (20 years ago, 4-Jun-04, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.announce.moc)

  Re: Announcing the MOCC

(...) I agree. (...) Great summary! Thanks! (...) EXCEPT I think you mean nothing NEWER than 19th century here. (...) Who, us organizers, guilty of elaborating as a way of drumming up excitement? Never. :-) Larry Pieniazek Display Coordinator, (...) (20 years ago, 3-Jun-04, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Announcing the MOCC

(...) The write-up was extensive (yet interesting to read) so that may be a part of the problem. I agree that the rules, thoa, are not overly restrictive. Maybe a summary post of the rules, would be in order? Here is my attempt at a short summary: (...) (20 years ago, 3-Jun-04, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Site Updated: Castle Stage 3 Photos

(...) It's coming along very well. I like the covered wooden stairway in the back. The walls on hinges are a nice bonus. I'm looking forward to the continuing evolution of this castle. Jason Spears | (URL) BrickCentral> | (URL) MichLUG> (20 years ago, 3-Jun-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)
