  Re: The Black Sword

I just sold mine when I sold my 6041 out of my BrickLink shop. When I came out of my dark ages, I pulled a HUGE box of bricks out of my parents attic and lo and behold, A PRISTINE BLACK SWORD! I couldn't believe it. I found a 6041, and a few other (...) (22 years ago, 30-Mar-03, to lugnet.castle)

David, THanks for the comments, as for your question about set dressing, I can only answer, "I wish!" Actually thee are a lot of detail and art direction roles I'd like, but for now I'll just have to stick to doing it Lego style. I apprecaite your (...) (22 years ago, 30-Mar-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Provincial village update

Hey shirley, Thanks for the nod! I only wish I could bring myself to part with the Lego, but If I made kits, I'd never be able to actually sell them, even to a good home (Like I'm certain yours is)! Thanks again. Jon (...) (22 years ago, 30-Mar-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Provincial village update

Jon, I really enjoyed looking at your pictures. The exteriors of the building look great, but the interiors are what I really found fun. Using the axe as a pedal for the spinning wheel is brilliant. You've done a great job of adding tables, chairs, (...) (22 years ago, 30-Mar-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: First Castle MOC in years...

Thanks Kevin! I wish I could do some more interior stuff, but I was most happy with the small chapel on the top floor, though a chapel should really ground floor, I think. The custom figs were really a great thing when I was young. I used a red (...) (22 years ago, 30-Mar-03, to lugnet.castle)

Hi Jon, Just clicking through a few of the buildings I'm really impressed at your ability to model objects at minifig scale. The Glass Blower and Butcher were especially great. I love the sausage machine! Perchance are you a set decorator? You (...) (22 years ago, 29-Mar-03, to lugnet.castle)

Hey Anthony, I just wanted to put my two cents worth in, if that is okay. I like your story and website. I don't know how many people I have shown your story to, but it is a lot. I am sorry to hear that you have gotten flooded with criticism. It (...) (22 years ago, 30-Mar-03, to lugnet.castle)
