Re: First Castle MOC in years...

Thanks Kevin! I wish I could do some more interior stuff, but I was most happy with the small chapel on the top floor, though a chapel should really ground floor, I think. The custom figs were really a great thing when I was young. I used a red (...) (22 years ago, 30-Mar-03, to lugnet.castle)

Hi Jon, Just clicking through a few of the buildings I'm really impressed at your ability to model objects at minifig scale. The Glass Blower and Butcher were especially great. I love the sausage machine! Perchance are you a set decorator? You (...) (22 years ago, 29-Mar-03, to lugnet.castle)

Hey Anthony, I just wanted to put my two cents worth in, if that is okay. I like your story and website. I don't know how many people I have shown your story to, but it is a lot. I am sorry to hear that you have gotten flooded with criticism. It (...) (22 years ago, 30-Mar-03, to lugnet.castle)

(...) It looks great. I love the detailed interior and the shields. Nice custom figs too! Hmmm..... if I was to give any criticism at all, it would be to smooth out the rocks with some small plates. So anyway, nice job! ~Kevin Blocksidge~ (...) (22 years ago, 29-Mar-03, to lugnet.castle)

Hey Bruce! How's it going man? all of the Glass pieces are either cups and glasses, or 1x1 rounds toppes off with transparent 1x1 round plates. Occasionally I used 1x1 squares to make decanters as well. I'll try to fire off a couple of pics of the (...) (22 years ago, 29-Mar-03, to lugnet.castle)

Dan, Thanks again for the compliments, I tried to do a little more with the minifigs this time. Coming up with fabric was a little tough at first, but I like how it turned out as well. Right now I'm trying to come up with a baseplate configuration (...) (22 years ago, 29-Mar-03, to lugnet.castle)

Thanks Lenny, I wasn't certain about the colors eithers, In fact I've got two more ubfurnished buildings in red and tan, that I'm still not certain the colors are "period" enough. the base lego colors are a little too bright and vivid for me. I'm (...) (22 years ago, 29-Mar-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: First Castle MOC in years...

Hi Alexander, Very nice job. I especially like the templar shields. For not having much many castle pieces, you did a really nice job. Actually, you can build a lot of medieval stuff without having any "castle" pieces. Build On, Josh (...) (22 years ago, 29-Mar-03, to lugnet.castle)

Hi Jon, As usual, I'm waiting for the kits. 8-) I especially like the brown and yellow one, which is odd because I really don't like yellow very much. The brown seems to tone it down and give it some class. Hugs, Shirley. (22 years ago, 29-Mar-03, to lugnet.castle)
