  Long time no post.

Greetings, all. It's been far to long since I've posted here, so... I put togeather a little MOC I'm rather pleased with: the Swallowtail. (URL) (Once moderated) It's a small, single-person courier/deployment thermal-rider. And yep, I plan on (...) (22 years ago, 20-Sep-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Harry Potter (CofS) and monster sets good for new elements

(...) This element is actually made of green plastic? Or is only the design green? The catalogue makes it out so that the plastic looks black. I note that most of the prices for the HP line are generally better than the price:element ratios of past (...) (22 years ago, 20-Sep-02, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.castle)

Re: Light grey sword is back!

(...) Gee, of course it was in there, I must be getting old when I can't remember even a year back! Anyway, I think this shield is the best ever: black, dark green, silver - I like a simple design as this better than the snake-head shields in 4730. (...)   Re: Light grey sword is back!

(...) The light grey sword is also available in Hogwarts Castle (4709), although that set costs much more :( I absoloutely *LOVE* the teardrop lion shield they use in Hogwarts (the snake one is nice too)... If only we could get it in a nice small (...) (22 years ago, 20-Sep-02, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)

  Light grey sword is back!

They light grey sword disappeared together with the classic castle in the 80ties, but is now back on the shelf. The new HP set 4735 both has a light grey sword and that nice dark green silver snake shield. the printed wall element with the snake (...)   Harry Potter (CofS) and monster sets good for new elements

....and improved ones too... :) The Chamber of Secrets has the phoenix, Ginny's red hair (in the straight, parted look), Gilderoy Lockhart pinkish suit, and blonde coiffed hair, not to forget the awesome printed serpent shield, and serpent wall (...)   Re: More custom castle helms

(...) Hey Bruce, Yes, the Great Helm was indeed made over an existing helmet. I'm most likely going to remake it(better), or change a few things in the mold itself when it come time. There are other helmets in the works... Process of making them? By (...) (22 years ago, 20-Sep-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Anyone have the IOM map?

(...) For making your own map - not related to the IOM map - take heart and look at a lot of real maps! Pawel used Railroad Tycoon 2 which is a really great map editor with terrific landscaping, elevation, multiple detail levels at zooms. You can (...)   Re: Anyone have the IOM map?

(...) Nothing else exists, which is one of the main reasons the IOM ended up dying. Jeff "G Gundam is love!" - Sapphire28 (22 years ago, 19-Sep-02, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  Re: Scribe's Shop

(...) It is from 1987's idea book #250 page 42. I hope that helps. Ben (22 years ago, 19-Sep-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Anyone have the IOM map?

Hey, does anyone have the actual map of the isle? The website only has the 'mist covered' map with the explored regions exposed. I am really curious to see what it looked like, also because I'm trying to make my own, and failing miserably. E! (22 years ago, 19-Sep-02, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  Re: Scribe's Shop

Hey Ben, Thanks for the scribe shop. It's a neat addition to a village. What idea book was it in? I hadn't seen it before. Josh (22 years ago, 19-Sep-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Scribe's Shop

I have made instructions for a "Scribe's Shop" which is from a LEGO idea book. Brickshelf Link: (URL) Links: (URL) - 9scribe and a10scribe.jpg This would be another cool modular addition to anyone's Legoland castle. The original design was for the (...)   Re: MOC: My first castle and The Burning Hells reborn!

Hello! Really great! I like how you created a piece of medieval life rather than war and struggle. Nice details! And building without a plan but just how the bricks come into your hands brings often nice results. This is how I build usually, too. (...) (22 years ago, 18-Sep-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Craig Hamilton's site?

I've been trying to track down one of Craig's custom figures, but the bookmark I had for his site is no more. Does anyone have a URL for his current site? Russell (22 years ago, 18-Sep-02, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.castle, lugnet.people)

Re: MOC: My first castle and The Burning Hells reborn!

(...) It wraps around so it cut off the ".htm" from the end. If you add that to the address you'll get there. The castle is awesome. When I get a chance to look at all of the pics in detail I'll give more comments. The Hell scene is scary. Just in (...) (22 years ago, 18-Sep-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: MOC: My first castle and The Burning Hells reborn!

(...) Darn it! This link didn't work for me. (...) Great job! This is probably the best castle I've ever seen! Love the detail and the town outside, couldn't ask for more. Keep up the good work! Hasta La Vista, Sean P.S Just out of curiosity, has (...) (22 years ago, 18-Sep-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: MOC: My first castle and The Burning Hells reborn!

(...) Dave, Wow, great stuff! I really like all the detail you put into the castle, the gardens and arbor, the archery area and dueling area, the wizards room. I could go on, but it's a great castle crammed full of nice details. Making the important (...) (22 years ago, 18-Sep-02, to lugnet.castle)
