Hello Mike, i don't have too much spare time either due to my job, but to
create images like the X-Wing is not that difficult as you may think. I
discovered LDraw and PovRay a month ago and i'am experimenting trying to learn
PovRay.

As for your request i started rendering a 1024x768 image of the X-Wing and
i'll post it at Brickshelf when its ready. I am using rendering and not
radiosity as in the first image since it took 15 hours to render at 640x480 on
a PIII.

(...) I want to chime in here too. I look at a lot of the pics people post and a lot of them are good, but this X-wing pick is fantastic. It may sound silly but seeing things like this make me proud to be an AFOL myself, even if I don't have the (...) (25 years ago, 20-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)
