Trevor, I couldn't resist, but...
Did you consider the time and work required to bring it up in PSP etc and resize
them?
For a big lot of picture or for really complex models/scenes this may make sense
because the time required for resizing a double-sized image may be much less
than generating such image with AA on in the first place, at the right size. But
with simple things like a subassemblies of a model for eg. building instructions
the time needed for this additional step may exceed the additional time need for
POV to render it with AA on.
Having said that, the batch feature of Photoshop helps a lot in dealing with
many double-sized images at once.
No doubt this is a boon for some circumstances but I think a POV needs to be of
a certain level of complexity for this to be worthwhile.
