Alright! Now this works with anything- radiosity included. It actually makes a
very low count look like a very high count(just use Jeroen de Haan's
radio_1.inc). You will need some kind of image editing software capable of
resizing images (if you don't just look around the web- there has to be some
freebies somewhere!). The steps are as follows:
1. Get your POV file open.
2. In the command line dialogue box type '-a', '+w' and '+h' options to make a
rendering exactly twice the size you want it without anti-aliasing.
3. When it's done, open the image file in your image editing software (in my
case Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8). Then look around for the resize button. Shrink it
to half size (the size you originally wanted your picture).
WARNING- do not use a 'pixel resize' option for resizing. It will look really
stupid. For any Jasc PSP users, use the 'smart size' option.
4. When you shrink the image, it will now look like it has anti-aliasing. But
why go to all the trouble?
The 2x rendering with no AA took only half the time of the 1x one with AA.
See what I'm saying? Rendering a picture double size with no AA is almost twice
as fast as rendering the original size one with AA.

For a big lot of picture or for really complex models/scenes this may make sense because the time required for resizing a (...) (21 years ago, 7-Sep-03, to lugnet.cad.ray)
