Re: Restart of LDA2001 Project (using LDraw models - L3P - POV)

Hi! You may want to check out this thread: (URL) see that Mike tried a similar thing a while ago. I'm sure he was not aware of your efforts. Personally, I have my reservations. Making this mechanical somehow takes the life from it. And isn't (...) (20 years ago, 11-Jan-05, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.animation)

Restart of LDA2001 Project (using LDraw models - L3P - POV)

I am still planning to restart the LDA2001 project. See details in (URL) . I found the latest source cade on a hd with crasched system files but intact file system. :D As you already know, animation is very complicated. The LDA2001 project is (...)   Problem with MLCAD arrows in other programs - and how to solve it  [DAT]

Hello, when I used the new MLCAD arrows in submodels, I always had one problem: I couldn't ghost them. Only MLCAD interpreted the ghosted arrows correctly, the other programs (LPub, LDView...) didn't. Where's the problem? MLCAD does not ghost the (...)   Set 8652 Render

I recently modelled set 8642. I still need to do some file clean up so I'm not quite ready to release the DAT file but look for it on my website ((URL) in the coming weeks. Here's the render I did as a teaser: (URL) that the trans-smoke parts aren't (...) (20 years ago, 9-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: Thanks!

I'm glad you liked it! That one is my favourite also. If anyone has any requests for a render of an official set or MOC, I'd be happy to give it a shot! Trevor Hewer (20 years ago, 8-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: troubles with automatic Raytracing using L3PAO and POV-Ray 3.1g

(...) But as far as I remember, there is no need for setting path to POV-ray in L3PAO. At least I haven't seen any dialogs asking or it. Did I missed something? rob (20 years ago, 3-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad.ray)

(...) I have the same problem on my Win98SE machines. I think I recall that it's a common problem. (...) I guess that L3PAO is made for an older POV-Ray version (3.0?) and can't locate exactly the file it recognizes POV-Ray with, because it's (...) (20 years ago, 3-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Fixed LGEO parts

Lutz Uhlmann (Chaot!X) is the author of almost a thousand LGEO parts, which are very nice looking (rounded edges) POV versions of LDraw parts. The LGEO parts, however, haven't been updated since September 23, 1999. During the last couple of years I (...) (20 years ago, 26-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.cad)
