Bill,
For every view except 3D, this is possible, but is not a one-step process.
Step 1:
Click on the piece you wish to center on in "Place Mode". (The square with
the pencil and arrow indicates place mode.)
Step 2:
Change your model from "Place Mode" to "Size Mode" (The square with the
yellow and black crosshairs indicates size mode.)
Step 3:
Click on any view of the model EXCEPT 3D. These views will center on the
piece that is selected.
Step 4:
On the same views, right click in the window displaying them. A series of
options will appear. Go down to "Zoom", then left click on "Set..."
Step 5:
When setting the Zoom Factor, keep in mind that it uses whole numbers, not
percentages. Instead of asking for "300%", ask for "3". Then press enter.
FINISH:
Repeat the same steps as often as needed.

| Is there a way to set up MLCAD so that when I do a zoom in, say change from 100 percent view to 300 percent view, to have the view centered on the part that is currently selected?
