As it's known, when you define a color in MLCad, say 71 into Stone and 72 into
Dark-Stone, or whatever color you make, the edge color is always black. I was,
though, just fiddling with the color definition system of MLCad and managed to
make Pearl-Gold's (142) edge color yellow! And the effect seems permanent!
How:
1. Create a test.dat with a brick in it. Or a Technic part, if you want, or a
subpart/primitive/quadrilateral/etc...
2. Open test.dat with a text editor. There should be a line something like
this:
0 COLOR 142 Pearl-Gold 0 215 169 75 255 215 169 75 255
3. It seems that the number right after the color name defines the edge color.
To make the edge yellow, change that number into fourteen, as it's the color id
of yellow, in my case:
0 COLOR 142 Pearl-Gold 14 215 169 75 255 215 169 75 255
4. Save the file and re-open test.dat in MLCad. Select the brick and change the
color of it to the one you edited, the edge color should be yellow now! (Or if
you changed it to something else, it should be that instead, of course.)
5. Go back to the color list and "Save as default colors" so the effect will
remain.
That's it! It should be working now.
